- CO2 Reduction Potential
Assessment - Presentation
of a methodology that can be used for reliable and effective assessment
of potential CO2 reduction actions. The
aim of this methodology is to establish guidelines for cities working
towards CO2 reduction with reliable
stipulations and assessment material.
- Issues
Impacting on CO2 Reduction in Cities -
An
overview on the issues impacting CO2 balances, with a
suggested way forward. This information
creates a basis for future work by and with cities in achieving
substantial CO2 emissions reduction. It
can be used as an appropriate vehicle by cities to consider programs
that have ambitious CO2 reduction aims.
It consists of three main elements:
- an
extensive literature study on the topic,
resulting in the presentation of much information related to CO2 reduction on a local
level;
- extracting
CO2 balances out of the
extensive information studied above;
- conclusions
and a few
reflections are made on CO2 reduction potentials.
